Well today was a great day to be a part of Jeff’s ride. Being a part of this fantastic cause last year, I’m so happy to see the group has grown even bigger. This cause is near and dear to my heart. I am so proud to be a member of this “club” from the Ride from Reno.
Today was only 120 miles with a little over 5200 ft on my GPS but with the tailwind that favored us, along with the absolute best asphalt in Nevada you couldn’t ask for a better entry into Eureka.
My favorite part of this ride will be tomorrow with the 5 passes we get to climb. Yes that’s the demented part of me that just loves to climb. It’s a sickness yes.
I have a feeling that Steve will take Larry on the passes tomorrow. Wagers anyone?

Scott,
Glad you were able to make it all the way from Oregon, that is awesome. Having a tail wind must be good (I never got one. Not fair!). Enjoy seeing the Opera Hall in Eureka tomorrow morning on your way out of town. You’ve got plenty of climbs tomorrow and please have someone get Larry on at least one of them!
